Deanna DeVito
Studio owner and founder, Deanna has been teaching and practicing fitness since 1995 and discovered her passion for the Pilates method in 2002. Today, she blends over three decades of movement experience with a deep commitment to ongoing education, helping clients move with greater confidence, resilience, and ease.
Early in her career, Deanna earned certification as an Exercise Physiologist through the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), providing a strong foundation in exercise science and human physiology. She completed her Comprehensive Pilates Teacher Training with Balanced Body and has completed advanced training in the Madeline Black Method. She is currently expanding her expertise with Polestar Pilates through advanced studies in Pathokinesiology, an integrative science that explores how the body's systems, including the musculoskeletal, nervous, fascial, respiratory, cardiovascular, and endocrine systems, work together to create efficient, healthy movement.
This advanced education has broadened her perspective beyond muscles and exercise alone. It allows her to understand movement through the interconnected systems of the body, helping clients improve not only strength and flexibility, but also movement quality, function, and long-term resilience. Whether working with someone recovering from injury, managing chronic conditions, navigating the effects of aging, or simply wanting to move more efficiently, Deanna uses thoughtful assessment and individualized programming to meet each client where they are.
Her approach is restorative, rehabilitative, and deeply client-centered. She believes every body tells its own story, and that lasting change begins with understanding how that body moves. Through mindful movement, intentional breathing, education, and compassionate guidance, she empowers clients to reconnect with their bodies, reduce pain, build confidence, and create sustainable movement patterns that support lifelong health.
